About Us
The
Boys & Girls Club of Bainbridge Island
is a
dedicated youth service agency, serving young people
ages 5 to 18. Our programs include after
school drop-in activities, summer, winter and spring
full day camps for Club Members from Kindergarten
through 8th grade, as well as outreach programs for
teens, including some late night activities and Keystone
Club. Participation in our programs requires only a
Boys & Girls Club membership ($35 per year), and minimal program fee for after school drop-in programs, day camps and early release days.
The Club also offers volunteer, community service,
and employment opportunities for youth and teens

We
received our official charter from Boys & Girls
Clubs of America in 1999, and have grown to a
membership of over 700 youth. After years in
temporary locations, a capital campaign and
collaborative arrangement with the Bainbridge Island
Parks & Recreation District resulted in the
construction of our first dedicated home at the
Bainbridge Aquatics Center in October, 2002.
We are guided by an Advisory Board
of local citizens. .

We
are proud to be a branch of the
Boys & Girls Clubs of King County,
which is the second largest Boys & Girls Club
organization in the nation. Though we receive
administrative support from them, we are required to
support ourselves through local fundraising efforts
and donations. All funds raised by our Club
remain here in our community and support programs
for local youth.
